Invitations!

So this weekend was entirely dedicated to making invitations in order to send them out, and I'm happy to say that I completed them and put them in the mail last night! One of my friends that lives close by received hers today!

The process of making the invitations is fairly simple, but time-consuming. I had already designed the invitations, but then I had to print them out, and then was the long task of cutting paper!
After all the printed invites were cut, I had to cut out the backings. This, fortunately, didn't take as long, because I didn't have to be as precise in my cutting. Once I had both sets cut out, I could begin attaching the white to the blue! That took me forever because I kept running out of adhesive tape and I had to run to A.C. Moore twice to restock! I clearly underestimated how much I needed!
Once all the pieces were compiled, I could add them to the pocket fold! That was the fun part and took the least amount of time.
The next step: envelopes! I stamped our address on the envelopes, then let them dry, then addressed the envelopes, then stamped the love birds to the corner. After that was all done, I stuck the invites in the envelopes, sealed them, added postage, and off to the mail I went!
